More clarification, I am throwing, it's just usually the winch
is pulling just a bit faster than my throw. (If I threw faster
than the winch pulled, the line would probably come off the tow
hook.) I'm trying to throw, but there's no resistance (winch is
pulling harder than the weight of my glider, and faster than
my throw). If the winch stopped, or the line broke, I assume
I would then suddenly feel the resistance, provided I wasn't
feeling the sting of a broken cord whiplashing into me...
