Announcing the 33rd Annual SOAR for FUN on scenic Mount Knobbly in West Virginia near Cumberland, MD on 6-7 Nov 1999. (Due to high pressure on our host, the road and the neighbors, it has been requested that there NOT be general flying on Fri. Field may be avail for special events such as long LSF slope tasks by special request/arrangement.) Two fun-filled days of camaraderie and scenery that only mountain-top soaring in the Autumn can bring you! (weather permitting!) All are welcome, AMA required for pilots. Usually, both slope and thermal conditions are experieced. Electric self-launching/flying OK, wet power aircraft for piggy-back or aerotow (hope to have tugs avail) launching permitted.
