Be careful not to do this with PEAK DETECT chargers.

Peak detectors sense the charge (either charge rate or voltage peak) of a
cell as it approaches "full" capacity. Two separate packs are very unlikely
to have identical states of discharge and the pack with the "fullest"
single cell in it will trip most peak detecting circuitry in shutting down
the charge cycle. Doubled up charging of two packs, each with cells of a
different capacity will exacerbate this problem. A similar "early" shutdown
occurs in packs that contain a bad cell. In any case, you wouldn't want to
end up with a partially charged pack.
