You are right about the voltage on the HS50s. According to the Hitec
website, http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/hs50.html they have changed the
spec to allow 6v. On the box that my HS50s came in, it says:
HS-50 Feather
AT 4.8Volt (4 cell only)
SPEED: 0.09 sec/60deg
TORQUE:0.6kg/cm(8.4oz/in)
These things are too expensive to fry so I remembered the voltage
restriction they noted. I'm glad you pointed the new spec out to me. I
built my Lil Bird fuse custom for camera batteries, and was ticked when I
thought I had to use a Nicad pack after all that extra work!
