Nah, I'm just messin' with your head. It sounds like this was the weekend for Stylus crashes. I'm assuming that you must have sent your Stylus in for re-initializion and re-calibration since I don't see anymore desperation posts. If you suspect that your radio has reverted to the Sanwa mode, go to the modulation menu (MOD) and cycle through the options. If you are in the Sanwa mode, you will see: PCM, PPM-8, PPM-6. Airtronics mode will display: PCM, PPM, PPM-INV. Another periodic symptom of a Stylus crash is the loss of potentiometer profile information. In other words, the position of any of the VRs (variable resistors i.e. stick, sliders, trims, VR knobs, etc.) are read by an A/D converter which converts the analog position of the potentiometer to a digital value. The extreme of each end of travel as well as the neutral position are recorded and remain inside the Stylus, but are not part of the memory setup on the memory card. Typical symptoms will exhibit extreme increases/decreases in throw and/or neutral positions are not correct. There are at least three things that I know of that can cause memory initialization to the Sanwa mode. The first is a failing internal lithium battery (located behind the LCD panel). Unlike the JR radios, the Stylus will NOT warn you of a pending low voltage failure. The second is inserting or removing the memory or advanced function card during card access (card access LED is active). Always wait until the LED is off before inserting or removing a card. The third is anyone's guess. In some cases, I haven't been able to nail down the exact cause, but it is likely due to static discharge or rough use (may cause card to un-seat). Having been the recipient of a Stylus crash for no apparent reason and as an engineer, I would love to see Sanwa "beef up" the initialization tokens as well as a graceful recovery if initialization tokens are corrupt or missing. If Airtronics can't get you up and running quickly, let me know and I can walk you through the procedure, albeit a challenging walk for the average Joe.
