Rich,
I don't know about those oversized 10 inch wide things but I just
miked the TE on the last UpLink hlg wing I bagged. It varies from .003
to .004 inches except at the center where the glass overlaps and makes
it a whopping 0.0055. It is cut and sanded square as I dislike getting
cut while getting it out of the car. Works well so I suspect that thin
is "a good thing."
