Mike Fox was the soaring columnist before Darwin. When you hear about the numbers of sailplane kits sold back in the days gone by you wonder what happened. The business was a big deal back then. Now it is all a cottage industry. And no the number of ARF's both cheap and expensive does not make up the difference in numbers.
