I have printed out some relevant portions of the JR XP8103 manual and it's a far cry from what's available on the Internet for other radios. All up its 142 pages. The first 20 cover features and technical specifications. Pages 22 - 56 cover airplanes, 58 - 98 cover helis and 100 - 138 cover sailplanes with the last 5 pages of this dedicated to details of practical setups for all kinds of sailplane mixing. Some specs from the manual: Transmitter power output =~ 750 mW Transmitter power consumption = 200 mA I have tried through e-mail to get these same numbers for Hitec, Futaba, Aitronics and Multiplex. Hitec gave me their power output for a Flash or Prism @ 450 mW. No response yet from the others. I did get some info for an Airtronics RD 6000 off of tower's website and this is: Transmitter power output = 600 mW Transmitter power consumption = 180 mA Just a thought, but if you Stylus, 8U and Multiplex owners have these details in the manual it would be great to share them here for a comparison (would this be legal?) If you want the XP8103 manual go to the web address below. At the end of the page there are 2 links one is the manual and the other is a review on their digital trims. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Description.asp?prod=JRP8612**&ThisPage=&Category=P& item=&refer= It's hard to beat looking at the manual when you are trying to decide what radio to buy.
