Sweet day for soaring today in Louisville.

Bruce Davidson, Tony, Ken, Ben and myself put in about 4 hours.  Sunny, light breeze and big thermals, with big cold behind them.

I had my new Sharon out to work on tuning it up.  I have only had about 4 launches on bad days with it so far.  Mostly was interested in getting the tow hook/elevator set for decent consistent launches.  Then worked on diff and rudder mix, reflex mixes etc.  Then it was fly and watch....I intend on learning this ship.  If DP can do it, even I should be able to (actually he's been sneaking me a few secrets that have helped a bunch, it is one of his favorite ships...still).

I had been having range problems with my Picolario in the Giant, so I sent an email to my German friend Thommy asking if he had any ideas...it was working when I put it away, but the last two outings I couldn't get it to talk after about 200'.  Its done it before....of course after sending my post off to him, today it worked flawlessly!  I think it is my walky talky having a problem.

I put the Giant up twice to recheck diff and to get my preset figured for the camber setting (a dot too much and its coming down!).  Got to tell you guys, right now this is my all time favorite plane to fly!

However I am committed to mastering the Sharon's potential, so its not going anywhere soon  (sale wize).

Hope you all had a good day too. And yes, Ben and Bruce Davidison have Agea's, Tony has a Vandal, ...good day for all of them.
