The air was better than anything I have seen today in Lillian, Alabama. Temperature in the 30's last night, warming to about 70 today produced nearly unlimited thermals. The Supra, Icon and XP 4 enjoyed an abundance of air time following every launch. Supra seemed to be a bit faster going up wind than the ICON. Now if I could learn to land!
Dr Jim Johnson, down from Traverse City to get warm, also enjoyed the nearly unlimited lift with his standard (100 inch) Duck. John Forstal had a number of great flights with his one meter, tip launched glider.
Tomorrow will be 2M practice day in preparation for the TMSS guys in early April.
