Bill, I'm soo, soooo bummed that I missed this BASH. I was thinking about it whilst I was in Tokyo.
I'm still around and kicking, but haven't been near California that much. Tomorrow I leave for Taiwan and after that, India.
I tried to get back in time, but missed it by two days. Oh well. I hope there will be another chance.
These days I've been flying electric helicopters in the backyard of this place I'm staying in Atlanta. They forced me to move here under protest, but I figure that someday soon it will all end and I'll get to be that clam-digger I've always wanted to be...
Thanks to Steve for the pics and for posting them as well.
I'm sure I would have been good at downing Tim a few dozen times too. He deserves it.
Soredewa nochi hodo!

Last weekend we had a BASH at Los Banos. It was great! Lots of FLYING (I got
3 hours on my transmitter!!).
Well, thanks to Mr. Steven Bixby, we have a web page with photos! It's at:

Good ol' Steve not only took the pictures, he gave us a web page! What a
guy. Thanks buddy.
By the way, looking at Steve's pics I'm finding that I need a new digital
camera. His are so clear compared to what I shoot. It seems that my 1.3
megapixels just don't cut it any more. Dang I guess my midrange camera is
outa date. It's only 5 years old! ;-)
Take a look. The closeup of Tim modeling his new goggles makes a good, if
not startling, computer wallpaper. :-) (would you climb into a jet being
flown by this guy?) hehehehe Ya gotta love Tim! He's great to fly with.
Really.
