Hi John, That's the same thing that happened to me. Something seems to have happened so that the list genie no longer communicates with @aol.com. I've sent about 2 dozen "subscribe" messages which have gotten no response (a few stray messages have leaked in here, sorry 'bout that). I've right-clicked and "composed as plain text" and gone to aol.com, from where e-mail is sent as plain text all to no avail. I did use a Yahoo account to subscribe to the list, but that is not my preference. Also, from the Yahoo account, I sent a subscribe command, followed by <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> which instructs the list genie to subscribe that e-mail address. I got the expected response that informed me that a verification had been sent to the instructed address, but never received that message at [EMAIL PROTECTED], which leads me to think that for some reason, the list servers mails are bouncing off aol.com, causing me to get dropped from the list. Sending a "who" instruction from the yahoo account verified that my aol address had indeed been dropped. I don't know what happened, but getting my soaring social fix has just become a little more complicated...

Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please note that subscribe and unsubscribe messages must be sent in text only format with MIME turned off. Email sent from web based email such as Hotmail and AOL are generally NOT in text format
