Silver solder that I am aware of requires a torch. Will the kit you are
talking about here work with a soldering iron? And is there a special kit
for the work we are talking about?
This one, from Tower, says it flows at 430 F.

I use the Great Planes silver solder kit, shown below. Tower no longer
carries it.
