I opened the charger today, removed the plastic dust cover and disassembled the button.  There is a metal circular disk under the cover and it’s concave.  The ‘click’ you hear is the disk compressing and returning to its neutral position.  I had to reshape the disk since I’d bent a portion of the edge.  Once reshaped, I sprayed some contact cleaner/lube from RS ($10), reassembled the button and it works fine.  Instead of removing the dust cover on the remaining buttons I simple sprayed a tiny amount of cleaner/lube in each button.  All is well now.

Thanks RCSE!

George,

My buttons went south a few years ago and I tried to find someone without any luck.  I also tried to find replacement buttons with the same results.  With nothing to lose, I opened up the contacts, wiped them with contact cleaner and glued the covers back on again.  Voila!  It's been working for two years since then.  I'd hate to lose it as it seems to work much better than my "Triton".

Does anyone know who repairs Robbe Infinity chargers these days?  The buttons are acting up again.  gv
