I just learned the meaning of the saying that "if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all". I mounted the 3110 motor in my winch frame and ran it so I could sand the shaft like you would in a lathe. I had to sand the entire length of the shaft. The end by the brushes was harder as I had to remove the armature and be very careful. I finally got it all done. When I tried to mount the Real Balls to the motor, the bolts will not go thru the slots in the heat sink. Now I have to go buy new bolts. I'm stubborn enough to keep at it until it's done.
