Depends. If you get the TE right where you want it as you pull the vacuum,
it will stay there. I would suggest trimming them to within a quarter inch
or less, then make sure that as you pull vacuum, they don't get pulled down
or up as the bag collapses onto the solid surfaces.

Hi all:
I need some help from those of you who have vacuum bagged Alcyone wings.
The balsa skins are wider than the core chord. They stick out beyond the
foam beds by about an inch or so, and I wonder how vacuum bagging will
affect the trailing edge of the wing, given that there is no foam bed
support for it.
I appreciate your advice on how to bag the wings without ruining the
trailing edge.
