Hi Guys,
I found that the max angle on the Supra flap was just enough to speed it
up, that limbo spot that doesn't cause lift or drag. (Since I am using the Micro
Maxx digitals, the clearance to the servo hole cover doesn't give you much
space, likely with the 10mm thin Wing Maxx, this isn't an issue because of a
lower output shaft centerline).
Adding travel didn't help because the arm was all the way horizontal so no
more was available.
Changing the neutral position of the arm didn't work because the clevis would hit the hub, even if you ground part of the clevis leg for more movement. So I drilled out a middle hole location on the 2hole arm and move its
neutral location, which still gives me plenty of aileron flap mix and reflex is
good too. (not that much is needed the Supra rolls like a great slope ship
without).
Yes I had to adjust the linkage length to zero my subtrims. :-)
Just thought I'd share this idea.
Might not have to do this if the Wing Maxx are used for flaps, as likely
the stock 2nd hole length fits under the servo hole cover without mod.
If anyone would like my arm mod and position photos, just shoot me a
note.
