The Avery fade very fast but stick well. Last about 30 hours in sunlight depending on the color. Red goes first and black last.

I have a half case left of Super Cal waterslide decals that work great. They're very thin and are just like the waterslide decals for model plane kits.

Have some clear and some white. Clear for light planes and white for dark or colored planes you want white lines on.

List is 24.95 Will sell one kit for $19 (2) for $30 (4) for $50 (6) for $70 (dealer cost is $18.20 each, so dealers and George Voss can take advantage of this)

Subject: [RCSE] Decal Making ...

I've made decals for my sailplanes using the decal paper from Micro
Mark as well as their fixatives - DullCote/GlossCote ...

I've heard of a new method - using Avery clear labels for inkjet
printers to do the same thing ... they have a product, #8665, which is
an 8.5" x 11" clear label ...

You ruhn it through your printer just as you would if printing a letter
and out comes your 'decal' ...

Has anyone tried this before and do you have to spray a fixative
coating on before using ? ... I'm thinking that such is not needed as
these are not true, water slide decals ...

If anyone has done this, please give me some feedback ...

Thanks,

Pepper
