I am in need of a Tsunami left wing tip. I broke the joiner box on this tip. I have a yellow red tip but Im not picky.
At the Midsouth I was on my second flight of the day. Got up to the winch turned on wiggled everything. Put in the Launch Preset hooked up. When I threw the plane all I had was elevator and rudder. No flaps or Ailerons. Well to make it just a little worse since I was on launch all the servos went to neg reflex. I got off the line but it kept nosing over. I pushed it inverted and few a few curcuits around down wind. I could only establish a medium bank because the servos on the wing were not uniform. It hit pretty hard on the left tip. It Cracked the carbon joiner rod. As I was taking it apart I discovered the connector on the bottom of the wing was cocked off at about a 45 degree angle. It must have been loose in there and when I threw the plane it must have moved just enough to break contact. So now ya know why I need the tip. I have an e-mail into Bob at USASoaring and just waiting out a answer. Let me know Jeff RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
