Hi guys,

Took a soldering gun and about 5mins to figure out and do the mod to make the JR 10 Synth RX accept a remote button for programming.

Now I don't have to be stabbing the RX in the face at the field or fighting with it for access.

It has 10 channels, right?  A JR 9303 has 9, we only use 6 for the most part, 7 if you have a Picolario.

I just melted the solder joint on AUX 5's signal pin and shook off the solder acting as a jumper to the Aux5 signal land on the board. Once it was clear, I figured out that the 'edge' side of the face button was the hot side, the other just ground, so I ran a small wire from that edge side connection to the AUX 5 Signal pin.

Now I can plug in one of my Polk Set Buttons and it does the same as poking the inny button. No chopping and it would take about a minute to put it all back just the way it was.

Totally exhausted from the effort....not.

You guys probably had it figure out though.
Gordy
