I stopped using Outlook some years ago, I use Thunderbird, a free mail
program. (I also use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer). Its easy to
use, flexible, its got a good junk filter and unlike Microsoft's
programs it will not execute anything that comes to it. (A lot of
computer problems have been caused by MSFT's insistence on 'push'
technologies where incoming information can run programs on your
computer. Its supposed to enhance the user experience but in practise it
causes innumerable security headaches.)
The only reason for using Outlook is if you were on a corporate mail
system that mandated that you had to use it. For the rest of the time
you are better off using "Anything But Microsoft".
