only have half the equation., ,,,plenty of wind but no hills. The only things we
have around here are mining hills that are hard to get access to. As for soaring
clubs, no. Unfortunately it's me, and Pete Goldsmith. Chicago's SOAR club is the
nearest to us. The weather this time of year is not the greatest either. If the
weather is OK we could hook up. When are you going to be in the
area?

Subject: [RCSE] Slope and Thermal flying near Champaign-Urbana IL?I may be visiting the Champaign-Urbana area. Are there any decent slopes within an hours drive? Also, are there thermal groups/clubs in that area?
