Contest - Blue Skies over Arizona HLG Contest 2008 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Southern Arizona Gliders and Electrics (SAGE) announces the first round of the Blue Skies Hand Launch Glider Contest 4th Annual Tucson DLG Classic BLUE SKIES over ARIZONA 5th and 6th of April 2008 at the SAGE Club Field CD - Ray Kostuk Pilots meeting 8:15 AM; Contest starts at 8:30 AM Entry Fee: $15 for one day; $20 for both days SAGE is located a few miles north of Tucson in Arizona website www.sageflyers.com Directions to SAGE: Take the Avra Valley Road exit off of I-10. Head west to the Avra Valley Airport and turn left on Sandario Road. Next take a right on to Twin Peaks Road. Twin Peaks will dead end at the Glover Ranch. Just before entering the ranch you will see a dirt road on your right that will take you between a fence on your left and greenhouses on your right. This road will take you parallel to an abandoned crop dusting strip on your left. Shortly this dirt road will lead you on to the strip itself. Check before taking the runway that there are no ultra lights in the process of taking off or landing.
