If you're flying a 80 series with socks, you're probably used to windy
weather (and launching on an F3B winch with mono?).
Go with 3421's on the flaps and stab, 368's on the ail and rud. A rib
shaped piece of vertical grained balsa (1/8 inch) on either side of the servo
to
tie the top and bottom skins together will keep the servo from flexing the
skins. I didn't do this, but I've had no flutter problems.
My Perfects had all 368's with a 3421 on the stab. No problems. My next
planes will have 3421's on the stab and flaps. Not that I've ever had a problem
with the 368's, but it's more of a warm fuzzy and that I really like the
3421's.
They only weigh slightly more than the 368's, but they're beefier and of real
nice quality. If you're gonna fly a $2K plane, spring for good servos.
Never had the need to replace any servo, but I still use the Greening mounts
in case I need to do so quickly between rounds.
