Phil and all,
I decided to use an Airtronics 761 for the flap, yes did have to trim
away some of the rib. I'm going with HS-85,s for the rest of the setup as
they are the smallest servos with ball bearings I have available. I want
good holding power for the launches. :-)
Thanks for all the input.
BTW:
I just returned from the IHLGF in Poway, and all I can say is
WOWOWOWOW!!!!!
This year was the best fly-off show I have ever seen, even better than the
ones I participatedin, Many years ago :-(
I hurt my back the day I left for the event, so had to have someone
throw for me, And need to thank everyone, yes even Paul, (it wasn't his
fault the fuse broke!) for allowing me to enjoy the event.
Especially Dave Leedom who graciously provided me with a plane to
finish the contest with. Then proceded to have a midair with me (Both his
planes involved) He completed the round and I had to have him help me
repair and get it back in the air the next round,
TPG had a lot of new faces and they carried on the great tradition of
fun and a well run event. My hats off to everyone who participated in that
effort.
Thanks again
George & Jo
