WOW............Thank you everyone for all of the congrats on my 8 hour flight and getting my level V. It is not official yet, till the MAN Deck says so.

What a wonderful journey, and experience it has been. I can only say, it was successful because of the many friends I have in this hobby. With out them, this would have not been possible. Any one who has completed all five levels knows this. With out those peoples desire and dedication, it would not be possible.

If I may, I would like to say a heartfelt Thank YOU, to all who have helped me along my journey.

The biggest thank you goes out to Troy Lawickie, With out his (and his father Claire) help, I would not have the plane I used to do the 8 hour . Troy and Claire built the Sailare I used and have flown for 14 years. Troy was also a guiding force in all of my soaring career. The knowledge and encouragement he has provided ( as well as some airplanes ) has been a tremdouis help.

Harry De Boer is another I must thank. He provided another Sailaire that I used to do the 10K with. He also sacrificed the opportunity do HIS 10K, the weekend I did mine ( I THINK all he needs to do is his 10K for his Level V). Now that takes a SPECIAL person to give up the chance to do his, for someone else to have the opportunity to complete there's. Harry may be a wild and crazy S.O.B...............BUT his heart is in the right place.

Ted Groser, for leaving a contest and going back up to Frankfort to be one of my official timers, and for all of the help and knowledge of the slope. Ted, you are a real inspiration for up coming soaring pilots. You have been in this game for many years, and many more I hope.

Joe Werts.........Yea you Joe. Remember WAYYYYYYY back in Vincennes when you helped me with my 1/2 hour flight at the noon break? I will never forget that one.

Larry Storie and Larry Jeffries, for all of the help on the 10K run.

There are not enough words to say THANK YOU to ALL of the people who have helped me in my quest. The help and encouragement was priceless

AGAIN, Thank You to ALL of my dear friend in the soaring community.
