Built correctly, the MAD Highlander is as good or better than
any balsa 2ch (RE) floater of it's size (2m). It will take a harder
winch launch than most balsa floaters too.

I'm thinkiing of getting a floater for my nephew this summer.
Normally I think WindStar or Gentle Lady, but now I'm seeing EPP
floaters with DiHedtral.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and venture a guess that the EPP
floaters don't float as well as the built ups, trading off durability
for floatability.
But since I've never tried one, I could be mistaken.
What's the scoop?
