Hey everyone! I flew my newly completed DAW Ki61 today. It was a blast! The first flights (this morning) were in 10 mph winds at most. It flew right out of my hands and was really touchy. I have the controls set pretty nutty and no expo available. I will have to dial in the D/R a little more. The flaps are a lot of fun, but I really need to put in some more down elevator. It was pretty smooth flight, but is a LOT different than my boomerang and Zagi wings. I went back later that day when the winds were really kicking. I had a harder time controlling it, and decided I needed to put in a little nose weight afteral (earlier flights with no additional weight to balance). I didnt feel like sticking around and wanted to dial in the control surfaces a little more so I headed out. Having a tired 4 year old also doesnt help much :) Its a great ship and I cant wait to fly it again, which unfortunately, will be in two weeks after my trip this weekend :( Thanks to everyone for their help. I have some pictures of this beauty. Had the guys at the hobby shop airbrush the camo stripes on and finish it with a dull cote. I trimmed it out with the usual markings and its sweet. I will post them to my website as soon as I get the film developed. Greg RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
