Great post. I especially like the suggestion of using a vineyard tensioner.
I'm not quite sure what it is, but I think its about ten times more likely
that the average RC builder in Italy has a few spare vineyard tensioners
kicking around, than the average RC builder in the USA! Thanks for adding
some non-USA culture to the list!

Now the guys who fly in Napa Valley and all use vineyard tensioners on their
cutting bows are gonna be all over me. Flame suit ready, but not all the way
zipped up. yet.
