I've lived in Hawaii for 21 years and haven't made it to Kauai yet. I have a friend in my home town on Molokai (pop. 7,000!) that used to fly on Kauai. He said he flew over a golf course near Princeville. The winds in Hawaii blow from the ENE 90% of the the time and we've got mountains and cliffs galore. Finding a road that goes to a site is the toughest part, with finding landing spots a close second. If you don't mind hiking and are flying a foamy, you will find tons of sites on all the islands. Have fun - sorry I can't be more specific about Kauai. -Silas- RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
