I'd like to get a little help from the group. I just purchased a plane that weighs a bit more than I would like for calm conditions. My goal is a 4-6oz total weight loss program. The wings and fuse are basically set (except nose weight). I can loose 2-3 by using a carbon wing rod. What I'm really interested in though is lightening the stab. With both rods it weighs 2 5/8oz. Does anyone have a carbon bagged or balsa sheeted set of stabs with wires that weigh any less? I'll be happy to make a new set of stabs if I can lose an ounce or a little less in the stab.
