I recently purchased 6 Hitec HS-85 MG servos. Four out of the six servos
have way to much gear slop. With the radio on you can move the control horn
at least a 1/32 ND of an inch which translates to about 3/16 " at the rudder
of my new plane. There is no way the servo can even start to center. I
installed 4 out of the 6 servos at the same location and only two were
acceptable.
I don't know if it's just the metal gear version or what.
Is there any way to contact Hitec ? or can I replace the gears or what?
