There is a limited production kit being made by a member of my club that would
fill
your request quite nicely. The plane is called the "War Eagle" (the guys from
TOSS
called it the War Beagle). Built-up wings (laser cut ribs), fiberglass fuse,

v-tail. Controls are rudder, elevator (v-tail mixing required) and spoiler

(operated by a micro servo in each wing). Airfoil is a 3021 (thickened at
the
root). The plane is rock steady on launch and takes a pedal to the metal launch

quite easily. It is the best RES ship I've ever flown. We had three of them
at the
CVRC Bent Wing contest this weekend and managed to get Wargles (my nickname
for the
bird) in 3rd, 12th and 33rd out of 44 entries. I finished 12th, after being
as high
as first after Rd 1 (well, tied for first) and third after Rd 8, but an absolutely

terrible last flight dropped me to 12th), not bad for a borrowed plane I had
only
flown for two prior weekends. I've seen the plans and they are quite good.
 I don't
know what the instructions are like or even if he has any instructions written
up.
If you know anyone who flew in the CVRC contest, ask them if they saw the War
Eagle,
I know a lot of people were looking at the planes and asking questions. For

information on kit availabilty and price, contact Amos Kleinsasser @ (661)
872-8837.
Oh yes, the wing rod is a staight 1/2" rod, Amos supplies an aluminum rod
but I
think a Squires steel rod is better or if you're worried about weight, you
can buy a
carbon rod from Matt Gewain at CST. This is a super flying RES ship and with

practice could be fairly competitive against the full house ships.
