Mark,
Most lists will auto unsubscribe if messages can not be delivered in X
hours ( X from 2 to 24). This is to keep them from messing with bounced
messages forever if an email account is closed, etc. Some lists are smarter
than others. If your ISP (or your connection if you do your own thing) is
not reliable you will be auto unsubscribed from most well run lists.
