The question I meant to ask was, given that one was going to use a particular type of tape for the hinges, how specifically does one cut the tape to make the hinge? Could one use a wider strip of tape span-wise across the wing with half attached to the wing and half to the aileron, forming one wide hinge? Is it better to use a narrower strip of tape (say 1/2" or so) and have several strips stuck to both the wing and aileron, thus forming several hinges? The instructions for the kits I have are not very specific in this regard. I have built one airplane with ailerons (a Boomerang wing) and had some elevon flutter problems, so I think I need a little advice in this area. I've done some searching on the web and haven't found much as of yet. Any pointers or references would be much appreciated. Thanks again... RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
