Well, as you know, the Pacific Ocean provides a large heat sink/reservoir. Average daytime temperatures can be in the high 80's during summer, and low 70's in winter. Correspondingly, the night time temperatures are about 10 to 15 degrees lower. Going from sealevel at 88 degrees this afternoon, the temperature was at 52 degrees at work. Work being on top of 10,000 foot Mount Haleakala. On top of Haleakala we do occasionally get snow and ice during the winter, and wind chills can get down to -5 degrees... I know, the guys from the North laugh at our "cold"... I've seen tourists turn blue when the wind blows. Aloha, Tom Nakagawa __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
