For an inexpensive and impressively performing plane, try NSP's Victor. 60"
molded carbon wing and fiberglass tail, and available ballast kit, for
around $200.

Mine is lot's of fun, even placed well once in an F3F slope race against
unlimited class gliders (granted, it was in light lift :-). It is easy to
put together, and has decent instructions written for a newer pilot, plus
Sal is available to talk you through it.

Also try perusing the stuff available at www.extreme-products.com
