I had an OLD Monarch. It was worn out when I got it. However, it still flew great. I later converted it to flaperons. It was a terrific little plane. It would fly on almost any slope. HL wise it did very well. Easy to fly. I am not sure it had the same minimum sink as some of today's super light planes, but it was good.
