Dan, I have a modified dragonette that I tried bungee launching with a high start. (small surg. tubing) Anemic launches, until I pulled back enough to flutter the tails apart and thump the edge of the slope. Boy, has my dragonette been through h... or what! My mods were a flattened wing w\ no polyhedral,v-tail elevators, two servos total in the plane. My tails were made from 3/32" stock instead of 1/16". Maybe others have had better results with a stock plane. My experience only. It's sure a fun airplane to just throw around though. Tom Ramirez RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
