I bought some dope last month.
Went to the hobby shop and looked around, There was lots of rattle can
stuff, lexan paint for R/C car bodies, polyurethane paint (good stuff BTW),
but NO DOPE! Finally I asked if they had "MODEL AIRPLANE DOPE". The
salesclerk gave a knowing look and motioned for me to come with him to 'the
back'...
There, under some old K&B superpoxy avocado green part A was a 4 oz bottle
of cleat and a 4oz bottle of thinner. We stuck a bargain, money exchanged
hands, and I went home with my score...
When I got home I opened the bottle of clear, and the all too familiar scent
of butyrate dope wafted up to my nostrils...and my eyes! whew! Close the
cap, this stuff is powerful! Then I examined the labels, and NOWHERE did it
say DOPE!
It just said CLEAR, or THINNER...
Now I am wondering, did I get burned? Is it really DOPE? or are they too
embarassed to be known as DOPE DEALERS? Anyway, I tried it but I didn't
inhale...
