No need to flame, just a simple evidence that you are incorrect. Although
our current President, the one who eight years ago so proudly proclaimed
'Character doesn't matter', was the Commander in Chief during 1997 when Lt.
Flinn was up for discipline. He could have just held her to his high
standards, but smartly held her to military standards and let the Secretary
of the Air Force handle her discipline.
Just so this isn't totally off-topic, has anybody seen or built a PSS model
of the B-52? That plane captured my heart when I saw my first one taking
off, fully loaded, and using almost every last foot of the runway to get off
the ground. Having flown single engine Cessnas and Pipers out of airports
where I lift off with two miles of runway in front of me, I have wondered
what it feels like to look out the runway at rotation and not see any of the
runway.
