It looks like I was wrong about saving the address book when trying to revert to AOL 5.0, I just received this from another list: "I don't like to debate fellow listees but to save someone the loss of their address book, let me be clear. If you upgrade to AOL 6.0 and remove AOL 5.0 and then discover that you want to downgrade you have a BIG problem with the address book. Lew is absolutely correct about everything else which can be moved back to 5.0 as he suggests. However, AOL Tech Support apologized profusely but confirmed that in the upgrade to 6.0 the address book is copied to the AOL server and thereafter is maintained on the AOL server from whence it cannot be downloaded into 5.0. If you have not removed AOL 5.0 you can rebuild from the pre-6.0 address book on your computer but you need to manually copy down all address book changes made in 6.0 and enter them into your 5.0 address book. If you removed 5.0 you are SOL which is not to be confused with LOL. Apologies about all the detail but hopefully we have saved at least one list member the loss of their address book which is a real disaster. " RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
