I picked up a samurai a while back and it's a pitcheron model (only the
wings move for pitch and roll).  My friend has a snipe that has an elevator
too and he likes the feel better (he's gone through a couple samurai too)
Using an elevator for pitch seems to reduce low speed stalling, and you
could always mix the elevator to wing-pitch for high speed handling.  I
think the samurai has little or no use for rudder control. There is not much
room for more servos anyway.
