I have recently installed what I was told is the updated version of this
RX in a Piccolo. It was just shipped direct from JR. It is working
properly. I have removed the OEM antenna (it is now supplied with a
regular length antenna) and repalced it with a based-loaded whip. A
rigorous range-check shows comparable range to other RX's in my
possession.
