Hi starts are NOT a mistake. They are great for short flying sessions. I like the short upstart type for landing practice or low level thermalling practice. They don't take up much room and you don't have to lug that big battery around. BUUUT there's nothing like a full power FLS winch launch, especially if the winch is equipped with "Real Balls" ball bearing endplates. > The Winch Doc says his unit will eventually be available ...
