He put the Profi 3030 on sale. Nice -- I got one. It occurred to me that I needed to get some stick time and I could do that with the new flight sim which allowed me to use my new Profi without standing knee deep in snow. (Yeah, OK, I'm a wimp. Deal.) So I installed the new software, hooked up my computer with the new cable I needed to buy and came to find out it takes about 5 minutes to get a plane airborne. OK, my video card is a little slow. It is a whopping 4 megs and a refresh rate you time with a calendar. I went to the Matrox web page and learned that my video card is no longer supported. Soooo I just went out and got the newest, latest/greatest super GeeeWhiz graphics card. It doesn't fit on my motherboard which, I found out much to my dismay, qualifies for the Nostalgia class. So I figure out that I need a new motherboard, which means I need a new processor, which leads to a new....... So I can either rebuild my system for a serious pile of buck$ or for a few buck$ more just get a whole new box so I can install the new video card so I can use my new software that Karlton lured me into buying when he was not busy selling snow to Eskimos.
