This is confusing. I see it as: 3 axis's. The plane can move in any of the
axis's. It can also rotate around any of the axis's.
Movement and rotation. Or, translation and rotation. Whatever, I see it as 6
degrees of freedom on 3 axis's.
I think this applies best to the freestyle helicopter flying. I encourage all
pilots to see some freestyle chopper flying. The choppers fly maneuvers that I
couldn't make up names for. Genuinely astounding. I found it more eye popping
than the first time I saw DS. I don't know how any mortal being could do it.
Unbelievable.
