Scobie, Good price but they are prismatic cells (rectangular plates) and usually have a much higher internal resistance than round cells. The 1100mah AA NiMh at $1.50 each or the 1500mah AA NiMh at $1.65 each are a much better buy as they will handle a mild speed 400 with no problem and also will make a Tx pack that will last a whole weekend with power to spare. The 3 cell Sanyo 270mah NiCd packs at $2.00 ea or 10 for $17.50 are also a good buy -- Dick Barker Seattle, WA - Turning HLG Around - >This online and phone mailorder company has a deal going on a cellphone Nimh >pack 4.8V, 850mah, four cells (850mah 1.2V per cell) at 1.8"x.65"x.3" each >cell. The cells are in a plastic 'phone back' case, but can easily be broken >out for our nefarious lift oriented uses. Seems kinda cheap at 2 bucks for a >four cell pack, or 17.50 for TEN four cell packs.
