When I was in need of making a Pike heavier than possible with lead using
the two fuse ballast tubes, I contacted a person who grinds tooling. He
fairly easily ordered some round bars of Tungsten that fit the ballast tubes
and cut them (special tool grinder) into the little shotgun shells that fit.
This isn't cheap, I think total cost of about $200 for a full set of Pike
ballast for the tubes.
