The charging chip in the Sirius chargers was made to do NiMH as well as
NiCd cells. This chip is the best one available for charging cells that
are used at low currents like RX and TX batteries.
It has a much more sophisticated algorithm than any other charger chip. It
stops just before the peak and then does a "top off" charge. Much better
for NiMH than a peak detect.
